Private membership Questions

Q. How does the Global Resorts Network Private Membership Work?

A. As a member of the Global Resorts Network you have full access to our private luxury resort registry. You can select which resort or vacation deal you wish to book and reserve that resort through the online system or simply pick up the phone and contact one of our customer service staff.

Q. How do I qualify to become a member?

A. There is no qualification. Once you have paid for your membership you can take as many or as few holidays as you choose.

Booking Vacation Questions

Q. How far in advance do I need to book my vacation?

A. Your membership gives you flexibility. You can book up to one year in advance or as little as 48 hours. Your travel needs are what determine how far in advance you need to book. The cost is the same regardless of the advance time of your booking.

Q. How will I know my booking is made?

A. After you have made you vacation booking you will receive an email notification within 72 hours. For a paper copy of you booking confirmation you should allow 10 to 14 days for the postal service to deliver your confirmation.

Q. Can booking dates and details be changed once confirmed?

A. Due to resort policies you CAN Not make changes to you holiday details and dates once they have been confirmed with the resort. Since we purchase specific dates with the resorts at wholesale prices they cannot be cancelled or changed.

Q. The resort I want to stay at isn't in your registry. What do I do?

A. Let us know when and where you want to stay and every attempt will be made to get you the wholesale rate with that resort. There may be extra time required to arrange a booking for this type of request so more then 72 hours will likely be needed. Prices may also be higher then normally found in the resort registry.

Q: Is there a limit to how many holidays I can take?

A: You can take as many holidays per year as you desire.

Q. How do I know the resort I choose is high quality?

A. Every resort offer to our members must meet our quality standards. Many of the resorts are also members of other international exchange networks and must also meet their high quality standards.

Q. I am not comfortable booking my vacation through a website?

A. We completely understand. You can book your holiday by phone through one of our customer support staff.

General Questions

Q. How long does it take for my membership to be activated?

A. Once the payment for your membership is received it will be activated immediately.

Q. Can I book my holiday for any day of the week?

A. Generally the resorts have their own check-in date. These usually occur on Saturday afternoon with check-out the following Saturday morning.

Q. How many days are these holidays for?

A. Generally all holidays are 7 night and 8 days. If you want to stay longer or shorter you can contact the resort directly and make alternate arrangements.

Q. What if we are late arriving at the resort?

A. Your confirmation information will have the contact number for the resort. You can call and inform the resort of your late arrival.

Q. I lost my confirmation. What do I do?

A. We will re-send your confirmation to you via email of regular post. If your holiday starts within a few days of requesting a new confirmation form we can also fax a copy directly to you.

Q. How many people can come with me?

A. This is generally determined by the size of the accommodations. The resorts will limit the number of guests depending on how many the room or suite can comfortably sleep. Generally, one bedroom accommodations will sleep up to 4 people while a two bedroom will sleep up to 6 people.

Q. Are there any hidden charges or fees?

A. Generally no however the price usually doesn't cover transfer costs to and from the airport. Personal expenses like meals, retail purchases and room key deposits are your responsibility.

Q. Can I give a vacation package to a friend or family member?

A. Yes, you can transfer 3 guest certificates per year to friends or family members at no additional cost.

Q. I don't really want my membership anymore. Can I transfer it?

A. Yes, your membership is fully transferable although there is a $75 US administration fee.
